Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy (BSc.OT)
Lori has been working as an Occupational Therapist since 1994. She has worked both overseas (Canada and United States) and in Australia. She has developed knowledge and skills across a number of disciplines within injury management, hospital and community-based care.
Lori has clinical experience in neurological, orthopaedic, cardiac, medical/surgical, burn and trauma cases. She provided family education and training, home evaluation and adaptive equipment to clients to maximise functionality and safety.
Lori has worked in case management for several years, driving outcomes for insurers, employers and employees. In her role as a rehabilitation consultant, Lori performs a variety of assessments including: Initial, Workplace, ADL, home and Ergonomic assessments. She also manages a variety of cases with the goal of returning injured workers/clients to pre injury work and activities of daily living (ADL).
Lori has managed and mentored other occupational therapists throughout her career. She continues to develop her knowledge through regular participation in courses and reading OT journals.
