Clair Cheel BSc(OT), Certificate IV Assessment and Workplace Training Accredited Occupational Therapist, Member of OT Australia Clair has over 21 years of experience working as an occupational therapist in a variety of community, hospital, home and work settings. Her caseload has included musculoskeletal, neurological, intellectual, orthopaedic, congenital, spinal, psychiatric and other multiple disabilities of the working and geriatric age group. Clair has expertise in the area of injury management and has worked as a rehabilitation case manager and rehabilitation coordinator under the NSW WorkCover, Comcare and Motor Accidents Schemes. A valued member of the OT Network team, Clair's resourcefulness is an asset in identifying suitable intervention options and problem-solving. She willingly shares her broad knowledge of adaptive equipment and aids to independent living with others. Clair also provides medico-legal assessment for a range of conditions and disabilities. As an OHS Advisor, Clair has extensive experience conducting training and has designed and delivered injury management, office ergonomics and manual handling training across a range of industries. Clair is a specialist in the manual handling of people.
