Josie Campisi BAppSc(OT), G Cert Health Sc (OT) Accredited Occupational Therapist, Member of OT Australia Josie’s had a depth of experience in the areas of acquired brain injury, neurological conditions, complex significant orthopaedic conditions, amputees and chronic pain. She has provided occupational therapy assessment and treatment to adults in a variety of clinical settings including acute and rehabilitation hospitals, the community and private practice. She has a comprehensive knowledge base and skills in the identification of rehabilitation needs, assessment and retraining in functional tasks, equipment prescription and training as well as home modifications. Josie has worked within the NSW Motor Accident Scheme and WorkCover providing occupational therapy and case management over a period of several years. Her expertise in implementing and reviewing domestic and attendant care services are valuable to her role with Occupational Therapy Network providing a medico-legal opinion for personal injury matters. Josie has expert witness experience and training. In addition to obtaining a graduate certificate in neurology, Josie has academic experience as a lecturer in occupational therapy. Josie continues to participate in continuing education and takes the opportunity to become involved with professional focus groups pertaining to her key areas of practice.
