Kathryn has broad-based experience including injury management, community-based rehabilitation and occupational health and safety obtained in a variety of settings. She has worked with clients with a range of conditions and disabilities, providing goal-directed and outcome-orientated intervention.
She has also held several management positions in the public and private health sector and is a principal of Occupational Therapy Network. As an account manager for key clients, Kathryn's role involves the coordination of Occupational Therapy Network services, planning and reviewing service delivery to ensure quality. Her professionalism and knowledge in the field enables her to also provide oversight and mentoring for consultants.
Kathryn continues to maintain a hands-on role providing rehabilitation case management and occupational therapy services, chiefly within the Motor Accidents and NSW WorkCover Schemes. She has a depth of experience in expert medico-legal assessment in personal injury matters. Her training and experience as an expert witness is valuable in assisting Kathryn to identify key issues and provide rigorous and reliable opinion in complex matters.
Additionally, Kathryn conducts workplace assessments and OH&S services. Her communication and negotiation skills come to the fore in liaising with various stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes. She has experience as a Return-to-Work Coordinator in the education sector.
Kathryn pursues continuing education opportunities to ensure that her knowledge and skills are up-to-date and her proactive approach is reflected in her participation in research projects and working parties for her profession.
